Prince George is going back to school.

Well, shortly on September 6. The young prince will be returning to the prestigious, Thomas’s Battersea in London, where he spent his first year in primary school.

However, this time his first day at school will be very different from the last. It is reported that both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be there to see their eldest child off and greet the headmaster of the school ahead of the academic year.

Last year, Kate was unfortunately too ill to attend the special occasion as she was suffering from morning sickness. The Duchess was reportedly out with hyperemesis gravidarum for a couple of days and therefore, Prince William brought his son to school alone.

This year, however, if speculations are correct we’ll get to see both Kate and Will drop off George in what is expected to be a very cute moment.

Who remembers Prince George’s adorable photos from his first day last year?

That cute little stance.

According to Insider, Ben Thomas, the former headmaster of Prince George’s school said the school’s goal is to provide a “safe” environment for the royal tot.

“Our aim for him, as well as for all of our pupils, is to provide a safe and secure and happy environment where he feels supported by a kind and loving community, that’s something we will be trying to achieve for him,” he said.
