A few years back, we all kind of had high hopes for Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry.
However, things didn’t work out (as we know), and they both moved on.
Prince Harry went on to marry Meghan Markle, and they couple recently welcomed a son into the world.
And now, the lovely Cressida is engaged to be married!
Yep, the blonde stunner is set to tie the knot with Harry Wentworth-Stanley, who she has been dating since 2017.
The news was revealed on Harry’s Instagram in a beautiful picture shared on Instagram last night.
In the picture, the pair look super loved up, posing for a gorgeous snap in Nantucket.
The image was captioned: “We getting married.”
Loads of people took to the comment section to with the pair congratulations…
“Huge congratulations Harry!! So happy for you! Let me know if you need a wedding photographer,” wrote one follower.
Another said:
“So much love and beauty in this photo & you look like twins! I wish you all the love & future happiness !!! Congratulations!”
(The twin thing is a weird flex, but nice of them.)
Also in the picture? THE RING, which is absolutely stunning.
From what we can make out, it’s a big old circular diamond surrounded by a band of smaller diamonds, all set in a gold band.
STUNNING.
Cressida Bonas famously dated Prince Harry from 2012 to 2015, and apparently she struggled with the pressure of royal life during the relationship.
We don’t blame her.
Speaking to Woman’s Hour about life as Prince Harry’s girlfriend in August last year, she said: ‘”I think it’s that thing of being pigeonholed.”
“Especially in this country, I find that people are very quick to put you in a box, or put you in a corner, and think ‘Oh, well you’re that so you must be this’.”
