If reports are to be believed, Prince Harry is planning something BIG for Meghan Markle’s upcoming birthday with reports claiming he has his eyes on a Mini Cooper car.
It seems he has his eye on a John Cooper Works Countryman model, which is priced around the £31,000 (€35,000) mark.
No big deal then.
A source close to the prince told The Daily Star:
“Harry is convinced this is a great gift for Meg. She’ll be able to nip around London yet stay fairly anonymous”.
It seems that his idea for the gift was inspired by his love of 1969 film, The Italian Job.
The source went on to say:
“Meghan is used to driving automatics so Harry says he will have to teach her how to use a gearstick.
“He has his advanced recon driving skills from his time in the Army so he could teach her a thing or two”.
There’s no denying the couple’s romance has been going from strength to strength with both of them making long-distance journeys to see each other at any given opportunity.
Harry also showed how serious he was about his girlfriend when he released a statement via Kensington Palace calling for respect of Meghan’s privacy.
