Prince William and Kate Middleton just met baby Archie for the first time

How exciting!

Archie Mountbatten-Windsor came into the world on May 6th, and it's been quite the whirlwind. His parents, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, are absolutely besotted with their new precious baba. And after a week or so of getting to know their son, now is the time to introduce him to members of the family. Now we know that a few days after his birth, baby Archie met his great grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. He also met his maternal grandmother, the wonderful Doria Ragland. This meeting was, you may recall, documented with one of the cutest royal pictures we've ever seen. However, yesterday, Kate Middleton and Prince William met their nephew for the first time. A palace rep confirmed that a special private gathering took place yesterday afternoon, with Kate and William travelling to Frogmore cottage to see the new parents, and of course, the baby. Baby Archie is yet to meet his paternal grandfather, Prince Charles, and his wife Camila. It is expected that Charles will meet his grandson tomorrow, following an official trip to Germany. However, despite the fact that he has not met his grandson, he has been gushing about the new arrival. “We couldn’t be more delighted at the news, and we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return,” he said during his trip. So cute!
