Putting together a royal wedding is no small task and one that not every wedding planner would be up to.

Now it’s been revealed that the person entrusted with making sure Princess Eugenie’s big day is one to remember has serious form in the area.

The royal has chosen celebrity event guru Peregrine Armstrong-Jones as her wedding planner, according to The Sunday Times.

Eugenie is set to marry fiancé Jack Brooksbank on 12 October at Windsor, just like her cousin Harry earlier this year.

The couple have reportedly chosen a funfair theme for their two-day wedding and are expecting some high profile guests, including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Robbie Williams.

Armstrong-Jones is well used to throwing a good party – he is best known for putting together Victoria and David Beckham’s lavish wedding back in 1999.

The pair wed at Luttrellstown Castle in Clonsilla in Dublin and went for a Robin Hood theme, choosing a burgundy, dark green and purple colour scheme.

The whole bash was thought to have cost in excess of €1 million and took 14 months to plan, with David and Victoria giving their input from the beginning, according to Armstrong-Jones.

The couple even changed outfits for the second half of the day. Victoria swapped her Vera Wang wedding dress for a form-fitting purple gown and David wore a purple suit to match.

If Eugenie’s big day is anything like the Beckhams’, it’ll definitely be a spectacle.
