Casual.

So, as you can already imagine, working for the British royal family has quite a few perks.

First of all, you get to rub shoulders with royalty every day – yes please.

Take the Queen’s cleaner for example.

Now don’t get us wrong, the salary offered is less than impressive, at around £16,955 (well, according to a job advertisement from March.)

However, the palace is currently hiring, so here’s all you need to know…

Obviously, that’s not a massive salary for anyone.

However, the perks of the job would make it all worth while.

Among them, there is the offer of accommodation, meals, 33 days holiday and a 15 percent employer contribution pension scheme.

So yes, you get to live in a PALACE, as part of your job.

The new full-time housekeeping assistant works five days a week, on a shift-work basis from Monday to Sunday.

If successful, the role will be based in either London or Windsor Castle.

The advertisement reads: “This is a career pathway in hospitality that will develop your housekeeping skills and expertise.”

“Joining our professional team, you’ll upkeep, clean and care for a wide range of interiors and items, ensuring they’re presented to their very best.”

“Learning from your colleagues, you’ll gain the specialist professional skills needed, always aiming for the highest standards.”

“And you’ll take care of guests and work front-of-house to support special events too.”

Those eager to work closely to the Queen must hurry, as the closing date for the application is January 1.
