Rapper 50 Cent has been charged with domestic abuse after it was alleged he kicked his girlfriend and destroyed a lot of her property.
50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, was charged after it was reported that the mother of his child and ex-girlfriend was injured, according to the LA Times.
According to reports, Jackson destroyed furniture in his ex-girlfriend’s condo. She then locked herself in the bathroom.
Jackson proceeded to kick the door down and kicked the woman.

He has now been charged with five criminal counts, one of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism.
If convicted, Jackson could face up to five years in prison or a hefty fine.
“Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office,” City Atty. Mike Feuer said. “We will continue to look out for the safety of all victims of domestic violence and seek justice for the alleged crimes.”
Jackson was apparently in a relationship with the woman for 3 years.
