Rebekah Vardy has said the Wagatha Christie saga left her hospitalised three times during her pregnancy.

Last year, Coleen Rooney accused the now-mum-of-five of selling stories about her private life to the press. She has strongly denied the accusations. The saga soon became nicknamed the Wagatha Christie scandal. The 37-year-old and her husband, Jamie Vardy, welcomed a baby girl - Olivia - at the end of December. And speaking on Loose Women today [February 13], she told how the trolling over the scandal gave her severe anxiety attacks. “The trolling was the worst part for me and my family. This was a whole new level,” she said [via The Sun]. “I had people messaging me saying nasty stuff, one ‘ you fat, ugly rat, I really hope you and your baby rot’. “I ended up with server anxiety attacks, I ended up in hospital three times. I ended up with kidney stones." She added that the situation was "probably up there with one of the worst things I have had to deal with", as she recalled the moment that she had found out about Coleen's post. "I was in Dubai, we’d gone away on holiday to buy baby stuff. We were just about to leave to go to dinner with one of our friends. My manager messaged me saying, 'you need to see this.' I don’t think I was prepared for what was to come," she said.   Following the accusations in October, Rebekah issued a statement of her own. "As I have just said to you on the phone, I wish you had called me if you thought this. I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for," she said. "If you thought this was happening, you could have told me and I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped. I'm not being funny but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you? I liked you a lot Coleen & I'm so upset you have chosen to do this, especially when I'm heavily pregnant." She added that she was "disgusted" that she was even having to deny the accusations.
