They split back in February in the aftermath of his antics with Miley Cyrus but it seems Robin Thicke still hasn’t given up hope on his marriage to Paula Patton.
According to TMZ, Thicke has written a new song called Get Her Back and plans to perform it at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards in the hope that it will convince Patton to give their relationship another try. Lyrics from the track reportedly include ‘All I wanna do is make it right’, ‘I gotta get her, go get her back/I gotta treat her right/I gotta cherish her for life’ and ‘I should’ve kissed you longer/I should’ve held you stronger/And I’ll wait for forever for you’.
This isn’t the first time that the Blurred Lines singer has used his profile to beg for forgiveness, making an on-stage appeal during a gig at Madison Square Garden in March.
“We gotta learn to forgive each other, learn to love each other… no matter who it is in your family or relationship… cause you’re always gonna need your friends and family,” he said.
