Ronan Joins The Celebrity Trend With New Ink

Sometimes the best way to say it is "when you say nothing at all..."

Ronan Keating is taking his lyrics quite literally as the star is following in the footsteps of many, and inking his children’s names onto his body.

The singer is to follow the trend, set by celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and David Beckham, by adding the names of his three children to his already-tattooed body.

Ronan and ex-wife model Yvonne have three children together; Jack, Marie and Ali.

The dad, who was photographed with Katherine Jenkins and Bono at the GQ Awards this week, said he loves adding tattoos to his collection. Now, most of his two arms are covered in them.

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie famously has six lines of co-ordinates tattooed onto her upper arm with each one referring to the birthplaces of her brood.

David Beckham first went under the needle in 1999 after the birth of his and Victoria’s child, Brooklyn, to get his son’s name etched in gothic script on his lower back. He has since added the names of the rest of his brood to his body. Actress Julia Roberts has the names of her twins Phinneus and Hazel and her son Henry on the small of her back too.

 

Ronan speaks to music legend Tom Jones at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.

He said he wants to have a lasting reminder of his children.

“It’s an on-going thing. It never stops,” the star said.
