Everyone is saying the same thing about Duchess Kate’s outfit last night

Duchess Kate’s outfit was the source of much attention last night.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a state dinner held at Buckingham Palace last night to welcome the King and Queen of the Netherlands.

The mum of three wore the Lover’s Knot Tiara to the event which was a favourite of Princess Diana and unsurprisingly, Twitter users were eager to discuss her outfit.

People were in awe of the sparkly tiara but her Alexander McQueen dress wasn’t liked by everyone with some suggesting that her stylist could have chosen better.

The 36-year-old is a huge fan of McQueen designs with Sarah Burton, the brand’s creative director, designing Kate’s wedding gown back in 2011.

Kate also wore some statement jewellery to finish off the ensemble and it’s definitely a dazzling effect.

However, it was the material of the dress that most people commented on with many questioning the “crinkled” fabric.
