Royal source says relationship with Prince Charles and his sons is ‘strained’

According to one royal expert.

Apparently, the relationship between Prince Charles and his son, William and Harry, isn't always an easy one. That's according to the latest report from the royal camp anyway but considering there's a lot of speculation about the famous family, we'll take it with a pinch of salt. It can't be easy being in the limelight 24/7 and having paparazzi watch your every move and understandably, this would put a lot of pressure on things. It seems that a royal insider confirmed that the father-son relationship is sometimes a distant one and they only see each other at official occasions. In conversation with politics and pop culture website, The Daily Beast, the source described Charles and his sons as very different. The source, who asked to remain anonymous, said:

"They are very different people and they just don’t get on. It’s as simple as that. They rarely see each other outside of official business".

Despite these reports of not getting on, it was Prince Charles who accompanied Meghan Markle for part of her journey down the aisle to marry his son, Harry. Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, had a heart attack days before the royal wedding in May and so, he couldn't fly overseas. It was Prince Charles who stepped in at the last minute and it has to be said that on the day itself, everyone looked to be getting on fantastically well.
