RTÉ presenter Claire Byrne has given birth to her second child, a baby girl named Jane.
Claire, who co- hosts Primetime with Miriam O’ Callaghan, told the Irish Independent that she and her family are “thrilled, well and exhausted” following Jane’s birth.

Thirty nine-year-old Claire and her fiancé Gerry Scollan also have a son, Patrick, who was born in October of last year.
Gerry and Claire became engaged in March 2013 after dating for a year.
