Sounds intense.

So as we all know, Christmas is coming.

And for many of us, this means spending time with our nearest and dearest.

However, for Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mum, this Christmas will be very different.

She will be spending the festive season with her new in-laws, who all happen to be royalty.

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, recently gave Grazia Magazine a rundown of what a royal Christmas is like.

And lads, we’re exhausted just reading it!

“After the luggage is unloaded, there will be a present-giving ceremony after tea.”

Seems pleasant enough, although the word ceremony is a little off-putting.

“There are mainly useful things, such as homemade jams, china or curios bought from county fairs.”

“Then it will be lethal martinis and a black-tie dinner.”

“There’s a really careful old-fashioned placement. It’s always boy-girl, boy-girl.”

Can you IMAGINE donning black-tie attire on Christmas Day? No thank you.

On Christmas Day, the royal family, along with Doria Ragland, will head to mass for 11am, and then head home for festive lunch.

After their feed of Turkey, the family go for a walk!

Royal expert, Jean Broke-Smith, has spoken of how Doria will find this Christmas difficult.

“There will be advisors on hand to help Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland, but it is going to be difficult.”

“For one thing she will need to bring a trunk full of clothes from California.”

We have no doubt it will be an exhausting day for Doria, but it’s very special that she can be with Meghan.
