Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston on holidays together?
Although they split almost fourteen years ago, there are fans who still hold out hope that they will reunite romantically one day.
The rumour mill was sent into serious overdrive this week when rumours emerged that the couple had holidayed together in Rome with George Clooney and his wife Amal.
Say WHAT?!
According to reports, Brad and Jen stayed in a private villa and it sounds like the perfect holiday.
It seems that George, a longtime friend of Brad, played a big part in organising the getaway and is very keen to see the couple get back together.
A source spoke to Life & Style, an US publication about the recent rumours.
“George wants to see one of his best friends, Brad Pitt, happy again. And that means one thing: Jennifer Aniston”.
The insider went on to say:
“It was very romantic thanks in no small part to a staff whose number one priority was discretion”.
They split in 2005 with Brad pursuing a relationship with Angelina Jolie whom he met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004.
Brad and Friends actress Jen first started dating in 1998 after they were introduced by their agents, announcing their engagement the year after.
The couple married in July 2000 and five years later, it was all over.
At the time, they released a statement regarding their split:
“We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate. For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media.
“This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration. We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another. We ask in advance for your kindness and sensitivity in the coming months.”
