Security has apparently been increased at the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle after it was revealed that police in Australia are looking for a suspect in a murder case.
According to reports, a man was killed in Coomera where he was beaten to death at his home. Reports state that the person who committed the murder has not yet been found and security workers at the jungle have been told to be on alert for anyone acting suspiciously. The Mirror have stated that police are still looking for the suspect.
In a separate incident, the newspaper reported that a woman in a town just ten minutes from the jungle was also killed just two weeks ago.
“We have a security team on site,” an insider for the show revealed. “The safety and security of our celebrities and crew is of the utmost importance.”
