She also shared the sweetest photo of her and Benny hugging after he popped the question.

The singer was showered with loving messages following the major announcement.

Taylor Swift, Gomez's best friend, also shared a sweet message under the post.

She joked: "Yes I will be the flower girl."

Gomez simply captioned the image, "forever begins now."

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco first started dating in 2023, but have been friends for some time. They worked on multiple projects together but confirmed their friendship had blossomed into a relationship in late 2023.

Blanco opened up about how grateful he is for the singer during an interview on the Drew Barrymore Show.

"Everything is completely real. Everyday when I wake up, I, like, walk by the mirror as I'm, like, walking to her and I ask myself, 'How did I get here'... She's one of the sweetest, one of the most charming, one of the most humble people I've ever met."
