Selena Gomez Desperate To Be ‘Older’ In Her Acting and Music

When you have it all, you may still want more.

Despite her success at such a young age, Disney sensation Selena Gomez has admitted she doesn't really “feel accomplished” when it comes to her acting.

The 20-year-old star told Teen Vogue she wants to branch out and create a “different persona” when it comes to her screen roles. The former 'Wizards of Waverley Place' star said Disney has been “a blessing” but now she wants more.

“Being part of the Disney Channel was such a blessing,” she said.

“I'm super happy with what my show has accomplished, but acting is something I would like to take on more seriously. I don't necessarily feel accomplished. I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting.”

Actress and singer Selena, who is dating popstar Justin Bieber, has also starred in films such as 'Princess Protection Programme' and last year's rom-com 'Monte Carlo'.

She said her role in 'Monte Carlo' was a “good step for her at the time” but she would never want to do anything like that again.

The young adult seems desperate to grow up as she said she would also like to branch out in her music, suggetsing her next album would be a little “older”.

She confessed to one star she would love to duet with, and no, it's not Biebs himself.

“Who I would die to work with, but I don't think he ever would-I don't even think he's even doing music anymore-is Justin Timberlake. Just because I love his music sooo much.”

Well, it certainly looks like we'll be seeing a different side to Selena very soon...
