Shawn Mendes and Hailey Baldwin kept their distance on the red carpet last night

With so many famous couples parting ways, we were praying that Shawn Mendes and Hailey Baldwin would become our new celebrity “it” couple to remind us that love truly exists. However… it looks like they really are just friends.

After they got our hopes up at the Met Gala, rocking up together, looking like the new Posh and Becks, it looks like all is not as it seems as last night the pair were far from each other, in fact reports state that they didn’t even party together. And eager fans who stayed up last night to watch the Billboard Music Awards were left super disappointed when the duo arrived separately and did not discuss anything on their *relationship*.

Shawn and Hailey were first linked back in November of 2017 when they were seen getting intimate at a halloween party hosted by Kylie Jenner. Then again, the two were rumoured to have shared a kiss at an after-party of the 2017 EMA’s. But for now, it looks like they are keeping their distance or else just in front of our prying eyes.
