The world let out a sigh of relief when Kate Moss and Pete Doherty split in 2007 but it seems that the model wasn’t quite so happy.

The Libertines singer opened up on the end of their relationship in an interview with the Mail On Sunday‘s Event magazine and said that Moss aimed to cause him “emotional distress” after their split, going so far as to burn his childhood toy.

“It’s a big, genuine and totally heartfelt regret that I didn’t keep my eye on Pandy, who was my first-ever teddy bear. My sister gave him to me as a huge gesture of love and kinship. I held onto Pandy all my life but he ended up getting burned by Kate, along with a lot of other stuff, when we split up,” he said.

“There was no need for that unless she simply wanted to cause me as much emotional damage as possible.”

The rocker also claimed in 2012 that Moss still called him when she’s drunk, despite being married to Jamie Hince.

“She wants to get drunk and call me and talk s***. That’s fine but I wouldn’t be able to do that to her. Anyway, she’s married. I’ve listened to her [on voicemail]. A couple of times she’s got drunk and called me and been a bit silly,” he said.

“But she’s a happily married woman, why does she want to speak to me? Maybe she’s still in love with me… No, she’s not. She hates my guts anyway.”
