She blew everyone away with her spirited performance at Glastonbury yesterday but country legend Dolly Parton has been forced to confirm that she was singing live, after being accused of miming during her set.
The Jolene singer played a selection of old favourites including 9 to 5 and I Will Always Love You alongside material from her new album during her stint at Worthy Farm but several viewers, including Sky News anchor Kay Burley, took to Twitter to express their disappointment that the 68-year-old singer was not performing live.

However, a representative for Parton released a statement today confirming that Dolly always sings live.
“She sings live. Some people don’t know an amazing singer when they hear one,” they told the The Sunday Mirror.
And if you need a reminder of just how good she is, we’re more than happy to oblige!
