Irish TV presenter Síle Seoige has rounded up a group of Irish celebrities in order to create an Irish version of Band Aid.
The Christmas single, which was written by Brian Flanagan, has been recorded in order to raise money for ISPCC Childline and the Make a Wish Foundation. The 35-year-old presenter took to Twitter to say thanks to those who gave of their time to come down and record Maybe This Christmas.
Famous faces who joined Síle for the recording included Kathryn Thomas, Brian Kennedy, Mary Black, Paddy McKenna and former rugby star Shane Byrne to name but a few.
“She was so passionate about it, there was no way I could say no!” said Kathryn Thomas.
