Celebrated opera singer and tenor Andrea Bocelli has tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Veronica Berti.
The couple said “I do” at a romantic ceremony attended by family and friends in the port of Livorno in Tuscany.
Andrea wore a metallic grey, three-piece suit as he led his new bride under falling confetti. Following the ceremony the couple headed to Bocelli’s villa in Forte dei Marmi.
The wedding took place on their daughter Veronica’s second birthday – he became the father for the third time last March.
The 54-year-old tenor previously spoke about his intentions to marry Veronica last year:
"Naturally, when two people feel like we do, they want to make it a permanent arrangement" he told the Daily Mail. "It will happen from the religious and spiritual point of view but it is a legal matter."
The couple have been together for 12 years. Congratulations to them both!
