Ed Sheeran is reportedly taking on the role of best man at Courteney Cox’s wedding later this year.
The singer is pals with Friends star Courteney and has been pictured hanging out with her and fiancé Johnny McDaid on a few occasions.
“Not only is Ed great mates with Johnny, he is a close friend of Courteney’s,” a source told The Sun. “Ed said yes immediately when asked. Johnny’s other best pal, singer Foy Vance, is also an usher.
Johnny popped the question to Courteney in June, after six months of dating and they are thought to be getting married in Ireland. According to reports, the couple are planning a big party in LA after the official celebrations.
Courteney married David Arquette in 1999, the couple split in 2010 and their divorce was made final last year. They have a ten-year-old daughter together, named Coco.
