Sir Elton John Buys a Second House To Make Room for A New Tot

Elton John has turned into a real family man since the birth of his son Zachary in 2010, but the purchase of a new house suggests that the dad may be expecting the pitter patter of tiny feet once again.

According to The Sun, Elton and his partner David Furnish have invested in a Los Angeles mansion as they wait for a surrogate mother to give birth to the couple’s new baby.

A source said: "Elton wanted to get a place bought and in shape before having a second child.”

 Sir Elton dropped €5 million on the extravagant property and it is believed that the family will move into their new home before Christmas as builders have already been contracted to start constructing a nursery and a music studio.

The family have been living in a Hollywood condo but since Zachary’s birth they have been considering the purchase of a more family orientated home.

"They did love the home, but now they are parents they have to think more sensibly and it wasn't ideal for Zachary," a source revealed.

"The apartment was situated halfway up the Sierra Towers complex, so it was dangerously high up."

Last summer, Elton said that he plans on expanding his family in the near future and providing Zachary with a sibling is very important to him. "I'd love to have more children. I want him to have a brother or a sister to go to school with him, and so that he can have someone to play with,” gushed Elton.

We wonder if these rumours are true and we think a brother or sister would make life in the Furnish-John house so much more fun for little Zachary.
