Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter have been linked since the beginning of the year but it’s only now that they have (sort of) confirmed that they are an item.
The two stars were spotted walking hand in hand and hugging during a day out in Manchester earlier this week.
According to the Daily Mail they also booked into the Lowry Hotel together ahead of McBusted’s gig in Sheffield.
“Ellie and Dougie looked really loved up,” an onlooker said. “Why on earth they had to keep their relationship such a secret is beyond anyone”.
The outing comes just a matter of weeks after Dougie reportedly let slip about the relationship during an interview. He admitted: “I’ve got a bird and yeah, it’s Ellie. I feel weird talking about it to be honest”.
Dougie previously dated Saturdays star Frankie Sandford while Ellie has recently been linked to fitness instructor Sam Karl and One Direction’s Niall Horan.
