Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have gotten matching tattoos in memory of their dog, Waldo Picasso.

The dog was killed in what was described as a "freak accident" in Manhattan's Lower East Side last week. Waldo, who was on a leash, was being walked by the newlyweds' dog walker when he is said to have broken free after being spooked by a passer-by. He ran into the street where he was tragically hit by a car. Both Turner and Jonas took to Instagram on Monday to share tributes to their beloved dog. "I miss you Waldo, rest in peace my little baby," The Game of Thrones actress wrote on her Instagram Stories. “R.I.P. my little angel," Jonas captioned his photo of the inking he had gotten in honour of Waldo. The couple adopted the Alaskan Klee Kai in April 2018. He was from the same litter as their other dog, Porky Basquiat. In November 2018, Jonas spoke to PEOPLE about Porky and Waldo's "fabulous" jet-setting lifestyle. The globe-trotting pair of adorable pooches had traveled to the Game of Thrones set and gone on tour with Jonas. According to the singer, they had traveled to France, England, Canada, Amsterdam and all over the United States. He said:

“They live a pretty fabulous life. They have probably traveled more than most of my friends."
