The rapper has made some pretty unique statements in the past – including likening his picture being taken by paparazzi to rape – but his latest comparison has caused another turn of backlash against the musician.
In an interview with French online channel Clique TV, the rapper was discussing shopping and making bad fashion choices when he referred a fashion faux-pas to “getting a prostitute pregnant”:
“When I was young, I was really scared to walk into luxury stores. It's very non-inviting and it's very expensive.
“Like, f**k if you're not knowledgeable you can make a very expensive mistake—an extremely, like, it's bordering on getting a prostitute pregnant or something like that.”
The Flashing Lights singer has recently been involved in a collaborative piece for both Balmain and Adidas, debuting his new trainers as part of New York Fashion Week.
The 37-year old gave the interview during Paris Fashion Week, where he performed as well as attended some of the designer collections.
