Splashing Out In The Caribbean: Hollywood Couple Wed For The Second Time

Hollywood couple Matt Damon and Luciana Barrosso said “I do” all over again yesterday as they renewed their wedding vows to one another.

The couple have been married for eight years but visited the Caribbean island of St Lucia to wed all over again, Us Weekly reports.

The 42-year-old actor rented out the island’s entire Sugar Beach Resort, for a whopping six-figure sum, for the happy occasion.

Matt Damon’s bestie Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner attended the ceremony.

A source told the magazine Damon and Barrosso, 36, exchanged vows under a thatched roof at sunset. He wore a tan-coloured suit and flip-flops and she wore a cream-coloured full-length gown.

The happy couple celebrated the day with family and friends. 

Damon and Barrosso were said to have organised the ceremony so the kids could be directly involved. The couple’s daughters Isabella, 6, Gia, 4, Stella, 2 and Alexia, Luciana’s daughter from a previous marriage wore the same coloured dresses as their mum.

They first married in a private civil ceremony in December 2005.

“They’ve wanted to do [this] for a long time,” a source told Us Weekly.

“They had a tiny ceremony the first time, and wanted to celebrate it with family and friends.”
