Company magazine is the latest media outlet to slightly miss the mark on the Irish ‘reports’ of Kimye in Cork, Limerick and Kerry.
One day after an unfortunate researcher at E! news fell for tweets claiming Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotting buying turnips in Aldi and tearing down election posters, the British publication has run with a doctored picture of the rapper and reality star outside Pat Shortt’s bar in Castlemartyr.
Journalists at Company updated their coverage of the Kimye wedding through Instagram shots with this snap, saying: “UPDATE: Kimye have now jetted to Ireland for a honeymoon in Cork and have been spotted hanging around town totally entourage-free.”
The picture was shared by Cork radio presenter Vic Barry, who merits a nice hat tip in the article.
