Sam Smith has said he has no plans to enlist the help of technology when it comes to finding a boyfriend, saying that dating apps are “ruining romance”.
The Stay With Me singer revealed that he’s an old romantic at heart and developments like Grindr and Tinder were causing people to lose “the art of conversation and being able to go and speak to people”.
“From my experience the most beautiful people I’ve been on dates with are the dumbest, so why would I swipe people who are ‘unattractive’ when I could potentially fall in love with them? Stop Tinder and Grindr!”
