The Duchess of Cornwall is the talk of the internet today.

Donald Trump and his wife Melania visited Clarence House for tea yesterday and today, a snippet from the encounter is singlehandedly ruling the internet. Camilla, for some unknown reason, winked behind Trump's back and now people really want to know what message she was trying to convey. It has inspired numerous tweets and gifs and it's safe to say that there's a lot of love for the future Queen Consort right about now.

Of course, people have acknowledged that the Duchess of Cornwall was probably being courteous and friendly towards the waiting media but that hasn't stopped people from coming up with conspiracy theories nonetheless. Many think she is acknowledging that the situation is a complete farce but play along with it, she must. With this seemingly off-the-cuff gesture, it seems as though her popularity has increased considerably and people have been sharing their thoughts on social media.

Much has been made of Donald Trump's state visit to the UK and the meetings with the royals were watched particularly closely as this was mere days after he reportedly described Meghan Markle as "nasty". He is due to arrive at his hotel in Doonbeg, Co Clare tomorrow with plans to meet Leo Varadkar and security measures have been put in place ahead of this visit.
