Matt Healy and Gabriella Brooks have called time on their four-year relationship. The 1975 singer and his model girlfriend have parted ways as a source revealed that his partying was coming between them. Matt and Gabriella have been an item since 2015 and went public with their romance in 2017. But his touring with the band this year and the lifestyle that entails has put distance between them, the insider told The Sun.

"Matty is great when he’s on form but he isn’t the easiest person to be with and leads a very unconventional life. “There has been a lot of strain on their relationship, not helped by him being on tour a lot this year. “He parties a lot at home when he’s there and Gabby had just had enough. "She doesn’t want to lead her life like that.”

Matt, who has previously battled a heroin problem, has opened up about how he came close to losing Gabriella in the past. Describing her as "incredibly wise and incredibly beautiful", he said he had "risked" their relationship at the height of his addiction.
