“The Cheeky Minx!” Mel C Admits She Doesn’t Know What’s Happening Between Russel and Geri

It seems like we weren’t the only ones who were a bit shocked when it was revealed that Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice) was stepping out with Russell Brand – apparently Mel C had no idea either!

According to reports, Geri has been involved with the notorious comedian ever since they began rehearsing together for the Closing Ceremony at this year’s London Olympic Games. However,  it seems that Geri has been keeping tight-lipped about her rumoured new relationship.

Despite the fact that the other members of the Spice Girls were around Geri and Russell when their romance is reported to have begun, Sporty Spice has admitted that she had absolutely no idea the pair were about to take things a bit further than just being friends.

“I don’t know what’s going on. I know they get on really well,” said a confused Mel C recently.

“I’ll have to quiz her on that one, the cheeky little minx!” she added.

Russell Brand was spotted visiting Geri’s north London home on Wednesday night, armed with a collection of highbrow DVDs and books, and according to reports, Geri has said that she believes she has a “spiritual connection” with the comedian, who’s divorce from ex-wife Katy Perry was finalized earlier this year.

“Geri has said they have a spiritual connection through yoga and they practice asana together,” said a friend of the singer recently.

“Russell is known for his action between the sheets but he is actually very good at just sitting still in silence. It is something that has acted as a bond for he and Geri as their relationship blossoms,” the friend added.

Neither Russell or Geri have spoken out about their rumoured relationship yet. We wonder who will be the first to comment and, more importantly, we wonder if they’ll be confirming anything when they finally do start talking…
