He is a man of many talents, from television to movies, music videos to memorable interviews; Will Smith can to do it all. Sing, dance, act, he really is the definition of ‘the triple threat’.
Today, the man we all wish we could be friends with, celebrates his 46th birthday, and to celebrate with him, we’ve put together a list of reasons why we love Will Smith.
We could have easily listed hundreds, but we managed to narrow it down to eleven. Happy Birthday, Will!
1. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, where we fell in love with Will first. The only man that could pull off a neon cap and pink t-shirt, and the only theme tune the entire world knows word for word.
2. He dances like no ones watching, except of course for Uncle Phil and a room full of kids.
3. Men In Black. We all channelled our inner galaxy defender when the MIB song came on.

4. The man has some fantastic inspirational quotes.
5. Although they were regularly at each other’s throats, we loved these cousins.
6. Embarrassing his kids, like every good father does.
7. His performance alongside son Jaden, in The Pursuit of Happiness.
8. He’s not a big fan of PDA, from people other than his family…
9. He regularly makes a joke out of himself. Exhibit A.
10. That Graham Norton Show appearance. Heroic.
11. The last reason to love Will, but by no means least, was his sheer lyrical and musical genius. Will regularly had us Gettin’ Jiggy With It. Hits included: Summertime, Just The Two of Us, Miami, Men in Black, and of course, Switch.
