The Handmaid’s Tale’s Yvonne Strahovski has announced she is expecting her first child.
The 35-year-old announced her happy news on social media on Friday night, which showed her cradling her baby bump.
She wrote:
“I am very excited to finally be able to share my special news – I’m going to be a Mama!
“So very exciting to watch & feel this little Peanut growing every day!”

The Aussie actress, who plays Serena Joy in the series, announced in September last year that she had wed her longterm boyfriend, Tim Loden.
The couple, who have been together for more than six years after meeting on the set of Chuck, got married in a ceremony in Northern California.
And as she hit the red carpet for the Emmys, she told E! News:
“Yes I got married, it was over the summer.
“There was a heatwave.
“We ended up jumping in the lake in our suit and gown, just to cool down.
“It was ridiculously hot. But we had a great time.”
Her husband, who is also an actor, said that the ceremony was “fantastic” – even with the heatwave.
He added:
“But we all made it through, we all did some dancing at the end of the night, it was fantastic.”
