David Beckham claims he's 'saving the pennies' now he has 4 kids

Couple goals.

They have been married for 17 years and have four adorable children together, and now Victoria Beckham has revealed how she and David keep their union going strong.

In an interview with Elle UK for their May issue (where the designer also graces the cover) Victoria explains that in their family, the division of childcare responsibilities is key to marital bliss.

Speaking of how important having David’s support is to her as a working mum, Victoria explains:

“He’s great,” she told the magazine. “During fashion week, when I’m working, the children will be in New York and he’s already planned to take them to museums and then out for dinner on Saturday night, so he is very good at that sort of thing – as am I. That’s how you can show your support in a marriage, by saying, ‘You know what, I’ve got this.’ That’s what makes a good partnership.”

The 42-year-old mum-of-four went on to explain that she and David still always make sure to have real quality time together. Despite being “very, very busy”, it is important to “put the phones down, and sometimes just talk”.
