Writing for the Sunday Times, Rosa Nikkah explained:
"The couple are understood to have set their hearts at first on Windsor Castle, and are believed to have asked the Queen if living quarters could be made available after their marriage".Why Harry and former Hollywood actress Meghan were so taken with the castle has not been revealed but then it is an extremely impressive place to call home. Royal author Hugo Vickers gave his opinion on why the Queen would have refused this particular request, according to The Express.
"There are empty bedrooms and suites in the private apartments within Windsor Castle which the Sussexes may have had their eye on, or perhaps some former living quarters in the castle grounds converted into other things. "But I can see how it might not be entirely appropriate to have a young family living there".Since the wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex carried out renovations on their home in the grounds of Frogmore Estate, getting it ready for the birth of their first child. These included eco-heating, a new gas and water mains and planning permission for a conservatory, sounds stunning. Although they wanted something different to begin with, we're sure they're delighted with their new home now.
