The Royals have just confirmed details about the next Windsor wedding

Olivia Hayes

We had two royal weddings in 2018.

And they were big ones. Of course, there was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – the biggest one of all. Thousands upon thousands of people lined the streets on London to catch a glimpse of the couple (and Meghan’s dress) on May 19.

It didn’t disappoint either, probably being one of the grandest events of the year.

Then in October came Princess Eugenie and Jack Brookbank’s wedding. This was a tad more low key that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding, but an over-the-top affair nonetheless.

We thought we were done with royal weddings for a while but late last year it was announced that Lady Gabriella Windsor is set to tie the knot with financier Thomas Kingston in the Spring of 2019.

Buckingham Palace recently revealed that Gabriella and Thomas will get married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, the same venue that Harry and Meghan, and Eugenie and Jack tied the knot in.

However, it will be very different from the two previous weddings.

It has been confirmed that the nuptials will not be televised and it will be for “close friends and family only.”

After the ceremony at St George’s Chapel the newlyweds and their guests will then make their way to the reception at Frogmore House as it has “personal resonance” for the couple.

The date of the wedding has yet to be confirmed but we can expect it sometime in the Spring.
