Katherine Heigl has spoken out this week about leaving hit show Grey’s Anatomy and reflected that she feels bad that writer, Shonda Rhimes was “left with such a crappy impression of me”.

The actress reportedly left the show on bad terms with Rhimes, who has apparently made some comments about her in recent weeks including that “there are no Heigls” allowed on the set of Scandal.

“I’m sorry that she feels that way, and I wish her nothing but greatness, and I have nothing negative to say about Shonda,” the 35-year-old revealed in an interview with Mario Lopez. “I’m a big fan of her work. I watch Scandal every week.

“I’m sorry she’s left with such a crappy impression of me. I wish I could do something to change that. Maybe I will be able to someday.”

Katherine has also been branded as behaving unprofessionally on set, but she stated; “That took some stomaching. There’s nothing I can do about this except to sort of prove it wrong. And the only way for me to prove it wrong is for people to have a work experience with me that doesn’t speak to that at all.”
