Another royal wedding incoming

The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on 19 May this year dominated many a news headline during 2018 and it was closely followed by Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s nuptials in October.

Royal fans will be delighted to know that there’s another wedding around the corner too and this one will also take place in St George’s Chapel, Windsor.

Lady Gabriella Windsor is set to marry Thomas Kingston and they have decided on the stunning chapel as their wedding venue.

Gabriella is a cousin of Prince Harry and Prince William so we’re likely to see the brothers and their wives together with other members of the royal family, another occasion guaranteed to receive huge attention from the many adoring fans.

According to Hello magazine, Buckingham Palace recently announced that the wedding would take place in late spring and it’s likely to be an intimate ceremony, attended by “family and friends”.

Apparently, a royal insider has said that this wedding will be very different in comparison to the very public events that were the weddings of Harry and Meghan and indeed Eugenie and Jack.

The reception will take place in the nearby Frogmore House and it’s believed that this venue has a special meaning for Lady Windsor as she spent a lot of time there as a child particularly at Christmas.

The late Duke and Duchess of Kent, Gabriella’s grandparents are buried at Frogmore so it’s easy to see why the venue is an obvious choice.

Gabriella and Tom got engaged in August of this year with Tom proposing during a trip to the Isle of Sark.

Gabriella is Senior Director at Branding Latin America and she also writes, contributing to The London Magazine. Her fiancé Tom works in frontier market investment & is a Director of Devonport Capital.
