She might just be home from NYC but, Meghan Markle is soon to fly out of the UK again.

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to fly to Casablanca airport for a three-day stay in Morocco.

However, this trip may have fallen at bad timing for the royal pair as the North African capital, Rabat, has endured violent protests over teacher’s pay and healthcare in the past four days.

The protests have seen people getting beat with truncheons, water canons fired into the crowds by police and many people have been left extremely injured.

And so, to ensure that the royal couple stay safe during their visit, reports state that protection “exit plans” have been drawn up with extra security on hand as well as a ban on doing a walkabout.

Speaking to The Mirror, a royal expert said the following:

“Both Meghan and Harry draw huge crowds wherever they go in the world and they have a real propensity to get in among the crowds, interacting with them, very closely.

“Due to the nature of the protests across the country, this was strongly advised against which they both understood.”

During their tour in Morocco, it is also understood that Meghan will attend a cookery class as well as meet children having equine therapy. The pair will then attend meetings with government officials, visit local secondary schools and the Andalusian gardens to name a few things packed into their whirlwind schedule.
