Celebland is pretty difficult to keep up with, it seems that there’s a new couple or bad break-up every second day.
Of course, relationship rumours are to be expected: some couples are together for years (Victoria and David Beckham) while others are on their second marriage (Brad and Angie) and then there are pairings that you wouldn’t put together in a month of Sundays, (Russell Brand and Jemina Khan).
This got us thinking of all the celebrities that SHOULD be together, yet for some reason aren’t.

If you’ve watched Silver Linings Playbook then you’ll know exactly why we’re rooting for these two. The chemistry between them is undeniable, even though Jen is seeing Nicholas Hoult and Bradley is with Suki Waterhouse. There are images circulating the internet of them sharing many an intimate moment. So this looks like a harmless shared laugh at an awards ceremony but it’s the practically the same laugh and that speaks volumes…
Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus
Miley is the definition of a wildchild, she’s changed her image in recent months and can be credited with making ‘twerking’ a thing. We’re not sure that’s something to be proud of, but that’s another story. Justin has turned into a bad boy of late, having been arrested on drug charges, he’s no angel. Can you imagine the havoc this pair would cause together?
Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
The Notebook. That MTV kiss. The scene in the rain. Do we need to go on? Another couple who share a chemistry that can practically be felt through the TV screen, to put it bluntly, these two need to sort whatever went wrong out. Preferably now. Both are reportedly single at the moment, so we’re holding out hope for this reunion.

Any couple who can wear matching denim-on-denim outfits and get through the night in one piece, must share a very special bond. Justin wrote Cry Me A River about his ex-girlfriend Britney, a sure sign of a man still in love. Yeah, they’re both in new relationships but we can’t help thinking, “what if?”
Lupita N’yongo and Niall Horan
An extremely random and entirely fictional pairing courtesy of the Her.ie team, Niall is a teenager from Mullingar who made it big with the 1D boys and Lupita is an Oscar winning Hollywood actress. However, these two are constantly in the headlines. Lupita has been linked to Jared Leto and Michael Fassbender of late, while Niall is apparently more than friends with both Barbara Palvin and Selena Gomez. They should just pair up altogether….
Sandra Bullock and George Clooney
Can you imagine the craic they would have? Every time we see them together, they’re in stitches laughing and as we all know, humour is a very important ingredient for a lasting relationship. He’s a silver fox and she’s got it going on…. MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Taylor Swift and John Mayer
So they were together, and then they weren’t. They should just get it on again, at least if they were making music together, we would only have to listen one set of whingy songs. John can tell Taylor her body is a wonderland and Taylor can parade John about as her Romeo… a win win situation.
