The family of Geri Halliwell's fiancé have reportedly refused to attend the couple's wedding and are said to be "absolutely devastated" at their engagement.
The former Spice Girl announced her engagement to Red Bull Formula One chief Christian Horner in November but according to the Sunday Mirror, his parents were less than happy with the news.
It's understood that Garry and Sara did not approve of the romance as he just recently split from his partner of 14 years, Beverley Allen, months after the birth of their first child Olivia.
"You can say that his parents are absolutely devastated. We won’t be going to the wedding," said a family friend.
'They’re very upset by everything that has gone on and feel as though their loyalties are very divided."
Horner is also stepfather to two of Allen's children from a previous relationship, while Geri has an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
