Former Inbetweeners star Emily Atack has confirmed she had a short-lived fling with Harry Styles - but said they were never official, and she doesn't plan on tweeting about the star again.
The TV babe admitted in an interview with the Mirror that she faced a Twitter backlash when it came out she had been secretly dating the 1D star:
"I learned that, with Twitter, you maybe have to think before you tweet.
"I’ve made up my mind never to say anything about Harry again.”
The actress, who was seeing Styles for a brief period in 2012, dismissed rumours there was a relationship, claiming they were closer to being friends and have now gone their separate ways:
"We were never boyfriend and girlfriend. I think that's the first time I've ever admitted to what it was, because I've always just shrugged it off before. But I think it's best to clear it up. So, yeah, we had a short-lived thing that was just a bit of fun. Then we went off in our opposite directions."
Emily has since moved on, and is now dating male model Jack Vacher.
