Tomboy Britney Spears Admits it’s Hard for her to be Like “Kim Kardashian”

A few weeks ago, Britney Spears was reportedly cautioned by X-Factor bigwigs and told to smarten up her look and get rid of her “ratty” hair extensions. Now however, the Baby One More Time singer has said that she finds it hard to look red carpet ready every time she leaves the house.

Britney apparently told Elle magazine that getting primped and preened just doesn’t come naturally to her and that she can’t be like “Kim Kardashian” when it comes to looking glamorous every time she steps out in public.

“I love my jeans and my sweats – I’m really just a tomboy at heart,” said Britney.

“So it’s really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian and be make-up and hair ready every time I go out of my house. I’m not a believer in that, you know?” she added.

Well Britney, we reckon there’s a lot of women out there who feel exactly the same. We all know how exhausting it can be to get dolled up to the nines just to run out and buy a carton of milk at the shop around the corner.

 

Britney admits that she finds it hard to dress like Kim Kardashian.

Britney, who is currently engaged to her former agent Jason Trawick, also revealed that she doesn’t pay any attention to the gossip surrounding her these days.

“I guess I’ve been under the microscope so long that I don’t even pay attention to the nonsense any more. I gave up getting upset about things people make up about me a long time ago,” she said.
