Torture Charity: School Use Bieber Track to Force Students to Raise Cash

"You know you love me, I know you care". Or maybe not.

What’s the fastest way to raise $500 in an American high school? By playing Justin Bieber’s Baby on repeat between classes until students hit the fundraising target.

Yes, apparently a cake sale won’t cut it anymore and Tenino High School in Washington is playing the track during breaks for the whole of this week in an effort to raise cash for a school in Ghana. The fundraiser, suggested by student Connor Stakelin, is proving to be a winning strategy with both Beliebers and regular students alike.

Speaking about the fundraising efforts, Stakelin said:

“For some of [the students], it’s incentive to donate because they don’t want to hear it anymore.”

Other students have complained of feeling their head is going to explode, with another non-Belieber telling their local radio station:

“Some of us are about to go deaf. I’m pretty sure I’ve already had five Ibuprofen today.”

Bet they’ll be pushing for a school walk next year.
