How sweet.

Prince Charles is said to think that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is the “best thing” that ever happened to his son, Harry.

And as it turns out, there was a particularly sweet moment that served as the turning point in their relationship.

A source who is said to be a family member recently told Vanity Fair how the Duchess of Sussex has a “lovely relationship” with Prince Charles, Harry’s dad.

Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding in May this year was said to be a “turning point” in their relationship, after the Prince of Wales stepped in to walk her down the aisle when her own father couldn’t attend the wedding.

The insider told how Charles “showed so much love towards” them on that day.

They  added:

“I think Harry will be eternally grateful to his papa for stepping in and giving Meghan’s hand in marriage. The bond between them is very close.”

The source added that Prince Charles “has been very supportive of Meghan and everything she is going through with her own father.”

They continued:

“He’s got a real soft spot for her and thinks she’s the best thing to have happened to Harry.”

Cute!
