TV presenter Maria Menounos rang in 2018 by tying the knot with he partner of 20 years, Keven Undergaro.

The couple, who got engaged in 2016, wed just before midnight in the middle of Times Square during Fox’s New Year’s Eve broadcast.

The 39-year-old former E! News correspondent was co-hosting the celebration with Steve Harvey, who officiated the ceremony.

According to People, Ms Menounos wore a strapless lace Randala gown by Pronovias, which had a matching lace detachable coat.

Her parents, Constantine and Litsa Menounos, who is battling stage-4 brain cancer, were at the surprise ceremony.

The TV host joked that she would be the “coldest bride ever but the happiest” as she shared a clip of the moment she told her parents about the news.

Later in the broadcast, the pair were finally wed – with Steve Harvey referencing the plunging temperatures in New York City as the ceremony began.

He told the couple:

“This has got to be a pretty cold wedding… so let’s get you guys married.”

He told the pair to “face each other” and “hold hands”, before asking both the bride and groom if they would accept each other “freely and without reservation”.

The couple then exchanged their own special words for each other.

An emotional Keven said to Maria:

“When we first met my professional life was at a nine and my personal life was at at two … still I gained a lover and a best friend, and you gained a lover and a best friend.

“You are a blessing not just to my life, but an even bigger blessing to this whole world and you don’t even realize that and that’s what makes you incredibly special…

“I will deal with you in brain tumors and health … I love you boo.”

Maria, equally as emotional, told Keven:

“I love you so much … I just wanted to marry you so bad before surgery, after surgery, and I couldn’t think of a better way to do it than right here. Steve, thank you so much for doing this for us.”

After being pronounced husband and wife, Maria tossed her bouquet into the crowd before the couple shared their first dance to the tune of Bon Jovi’s Thank You For Loving Me.

The 39-year-old revealed earlier this year that she had underwent surgery to remove a benign meningioma brain tumor.

Following the procedure, she stepped down from E! News.

She previously told how the experience was the “best thing that ever happened” to her.

She told Women’s Health in December:

“It’s freed me from all of that anxiety of having to be perfect. You can’t control everything; leave it to God and just say, ‘Okay, this is my journey.”
