Two members of Nicki Minaj’s tour team were reportedly stabbed in Philadelphia.
According to the singer’s Twitter account the pair, aged 29 and 26, had touched down in the city for rehearsals two days previously.
She wrote: “Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.”
The 29-year-old was killed while the 26-year-old was critically wounded in the incident which happened at approximately 2.00am on Wednesday outside a bar in West Oak Lane neighbourhood.
According to Sky News, the authorities are yet to identify the victims or confirm that they work for Minaj. They are said to be offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.
As well as the aforementioned tweet, the pop star also posted this photograph on her Instagram account.

Alongside it she wrote: “Rp @myfabolouslife – these guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night.
“#RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable. Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.”
